Overview

BHA or Bachelor in Hospital Administration is a three-year undergraduate degree designed for the students who are looking for a career in management, administration, and leadership of hospitals, healthcare systems, and hospital networks. 

This course helps to prepare healthcare professionals who can respond effectively to the diverse and ever-changing healthcare sector. This can be the dream course for the candidates who are interested in serving, helping, and also want to have complete knowledge of the skill.

BHA is more dynamic and challenging than any other management-related jobs with changing a number of acts and laws and merging of hospitals. The hospital administrators serve a vital role in maintaining the efficacy in the operations of a hospital system. 

The course includes Information Technology in Hospitals, Healthcare Economics, Biostatistics, Human Biology, and Medical Terminology, Legal and Ethical Issues in Hospitals. Students can also opt for MBA Course after completing a BHA degree as it will provide a wide range of MBA Jobs for them to earn a decent salary.

The eligibility criteria for BHA is 50% minimum aggregate in 10+2 from a recognized college or board(ICSE/CBSE/State Boards). The admission process for the colleges for BHA is a Personal Interview and a Skill Assessment Test or CET is an entrance examination that is accepted nationally by the reputed universities.

BHA focuses both on practical and theoretical knowledge distinctive to the students who enroll for Masters in Hospital Administration, the majority of them pursue PhD later on. Even if the students do not opt for higher studies they easily manage to earn INR 35,000 per month.

Diverse roles are offered to BHA graduates like Hospital Administrators, Health Insurance Specialist, Practice Manager, Administrator for Public Care Health Facility.
